Danyfan House and Railway Carriage are in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons. Danyfan House is an elegant Edwardian holiday home with five bedrooms and four bathrooms, loads of space and a big garden. It comfortably sleeps 10 and is a perfect holiday cottage for groups and families. With a sitting room, games room and library, there’s plenty of space for everyone, even on that odd occasion when the sun’s not out. Danyfan Carriage is a glamping cabin. It’s about 150 metres away from the holiday house, at the top of the field. It’s a romantic retreat for two with plenty of rustic charm.
Danyfan is at the foot of Pen-y-Fan and there are hundreds of activities to take on during your stay. Walking, road biking, mountain biking, fishing, country pubs, enjoying the various events throughout the year – there’s something for everyone. The owners, who live next door, are happy to advise on walking/ cycling routes and activities. Families can take day trips to the National Showcaves, the Owl Centre, Brecon Mountain Railway and the nearby Cantref Adventure Centre. It’s also a perfect base for festivals – The Green Man, Hay Literary Festival, Abergavenny Food Festival and Brecon Jazz.
