If you’re looking for a unique, romantic, off-grid experience, come glamping at Danyfan Carriage. Perfectly secluded, it’s beside a stream in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park with views straight up the mountains. It sleeps two in rustic charming luxury. It’s full of quirky touches, almost everything in there is up/re-cycled.
It has solar electricity, so you can plug your phone in if you have to, keep your provisions cool in the fridge and supplement candlelight for playing scrabble or cards. The wood burning stove quickly heats up the carriage, and if that goes out in the night, the hot water bottles will keep you warm.
Outside is a deck from which you can gaze at the mountains with a fire pit and bbq if you’d rather cook outside than on the gas hob and grills a deck, a fire pit outside which is .
We leave you with a welcome hamper of homemade sour dough bread, butter, locally produced bacon, eggs, as well as some milk and homemade brownies. And we make sure the carriage is stocked up with salt, pepper, olive oil, tea, coffee etc.
There’s an eco-friendly compost loo, and the shower, while it’s al fresco (there’s a shower curtain to protect your modesty), has hot water.
